Our Getaway: 14-Days in Canada – Things to do in Quebec City

We left Montreal at lunch time and just ate our brunch (breakfast/lunch) at the bus station, which is good. They have a really rich Chocolat Chaud ?. This is the only fast food inside the station. We didn’t look to far just to miss our bus.

We booked our bus ticket thru Orleans Express Bus. One way is C$25 from Montreal to Quebec and it’s a 3 hour ride.

We booked an airbnb room too, that is closed to the downtown. Once we arrived in Quebec, we just took an Uber which cost for C$12.
After we settled down, we decided to go to downtown to have a dinner and walk around Old Quebec. We tried to ride the bus, which took us like 20 minutes to go to downtown.

Got tired of walking and taking pictures, we eat in nearby restaurants. Besides the painting aisle.

We just need a good shots (for the Goblin settings), tonight and tomorrow too. Got tired and we called it a night. So, we called an Uber, ’cause it’s kinda practical, since the bus ride is the same cost as Uber ?.

Rise and shine, time for another day.
So we opted to take an Uber, since it’s just 10 mins ride to downtown All the tourist spots are in downtown and can be reached by foot. We had some hot chocolate drink and croissant before we explore the city.

Time for another walk ? To shed all the carbs we ate
We need to find the last spot that we need to visit.
We just asked at the information center where we can find this one, since I’m not good at direction. And I think we did a good job, cause we found it ?

We got tired from walking and crave for some sweets. So, we decided to have some hot chocolate and desserts.?

Even though we still have time, we were already exhausted and I think it’s time to rest, for now. And just watch in our room and do some laundry. ?

Our train schedule is not until noon the next day. So we just rest and watch more TV series, before our departure to Ottawa.

We just had a big breakfast that will last until dinner??.

  1. As someone who grew up in Toronto Canada I never ventured to Quebec, but your pics look amazing and the suggestions you gave are awesome. I’ve just added Quebec to my bucket list. 🙂

  2. I have not made it that far East yet. I’ve been to the East side of Ontario a few years ago but not any further yet, but I hope to take our family across Canada sometime this summer – it feels impossible with all that is going on, but the kids are growing and my oldest is 17, it feels like it is now or never.

  3. Wow this list is amazing! Definitely pinning this for later. My mum was planning a trip to Canada with me to visit my aunt so this is going to come in useful.

  4. Wow! You also watch the Goblin. It’s so nice to visit Quebec, Canada. I have a brother who lives in Canada just not in Quebec. I wish to go there someday and visit him.

  5. Quebec is actually one of my top 5 places to visit! I find very many things there different then where i live (ohio) and I would love to have the experiances. & a few of my good friends live there.
