3 Days in Hong Kong: Itinerary and Budget II

We’re still tired from Disneyland, but we need to get up.

To Snoopy’s World (3rd floor of New Town Plaza shopping mall). Take East Railway to Sha Tin station and take Exit A. Walk through the New Town Plaza shopping mall and you will reach the Snoopy’s World within five-minute walk. Just follow the signs.

And here they are, so many snoopys.

IKEA is located at the 5th and 6th floors.

They’re cute designs…

We decided to go back to New Town plaza.
But we can’t find the exit. Can you imagine? we were lost inside the mall!
We were circling around the floors, two times!
After some time, I’m so glad, we found the exit.
We had our lunch at Shakey’s and bought some breads from A1 bakery (because they look so yummy)

And then off to Big Buddha.
We don’t have octupus card, so we just bought single journey. But I selected the wrong one. Good thing we were able to refund it in the counter.
When I punched again this time. The machine didn’t give my change of HK$14 ?

To Big Buddha, MTR to Tung Chung Station Exit B, Then take New Lantao Bus 23 from Tung Chung Town Centre, which takes 45 minutes. Then walk for about 8 minutes.

Ngong Ping

We opt to ride bus to Big Buddha instead of Cable Car, because it is cheaper. We paid for HK$17.20 (one way). Aside from that, we were able to take a nap too.
After 45 minutes, tada!
And we need to take the stairs!

Hong Kong Trip in 3 days

We have an early flight the next day, so went back at 11:00 pm. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to sleep. Blame it to the frappe in the cafe. ?

  1. I’ve always wanted to visit Hong Kong and explore it! I’m sure there are plenty of things to do there. Aside from going to the awesome places, I also look forward to the shopping. Love your guide!

  2. HK is amazing and one of my top cities in the world ever. But it does get pretty pricy. This is a great way of doing it on a budget. When I went, my cousin lived there so it saved on some of the costs. Great post.

  3. Years ago, Hong Kong was synonymous with shopping. Now, there are just so much more places to see and activities to do in Hong Kong. I hope to visit someday!

  4. My favorite was the Big Buddha at Ngong Ping. We didn’t take the cable car. We rode the bus, instead, and it afforded us marvelous views of cliffs and the surrounding mountains. When we went there, there was so much fog so it added novelty and wonder to our experience. 🙂
