3 Days in Hong Kong: Itinerary and Budget

When we arrived at the port, we asked a guy on how to go to Mirador Mansion. But unfortunately the guy can’t speak english, but he brought us to the concierge for the directions.

She drew a map for the directions (but it’s in a chinese character). We keep on walking, but got tired and hitched a cab. But the driver told us to just walk. Maybe it is really close?

We got lost, and I think we walked for 20 minutes before we found the Mirador Mansion.
We’re kinda surprise with the place, ’cause it’s not that homey, and it’s like an old building or apartment.

We found the reception in 12th floor.
We reserved for online for 4 days at the Cosmic Guesthouse. The room is really small. And the walls are tiles. Even the restroom is not that spacious.
We needed to ask for towels at the reception. They have water station, but it’s just hot water. I think in Hong Kong, they just have hot water on any water station (even in summer ?).

We’re really tired. We just had a really quick dinner. And rest after a long day.

The Next day we went to see first the Avenue of Stars.
It’s just close to the guesthouse ’cause it’s within Tsim Sha Tsui.
In MTR East Tsim Sha Tsui Station, got to Exit J, then follow the signs to Avenue Stars. That easy.

Jackie Chan
Bruce Lee
McDull

The heat is making as irritated and impatient… haha. It was too hot!!!
We went back to MTR and headed to Nan Lian Garden (We were getting grumpy because of the heat ?)

To Nan Lian Garden, ride the MTR to Diamond Hill Station, Exit C2, Follow the signs and walk for five minutes.

We were getting HANGRY!, and decided to eat lunch first at the Diamond Hill. Luckily we found a food republic. We ordered roasted duck and roasted goose. The meal includes veggie soup and rice.

roasted goose/duck

Time to walk. Nan Lian Garden is just close to the Mall. ?

Ladies/Night market.
Our Aunts treat us free outfit, woohoo! Thank you so much.
We bought some in Giordano, Bossini at Esprit

After, shopping we had snacks in McDonald’s. It was really full, luckily, we found a table that will fit all of us ?

It’s time to go back to Tsim Sha Tsui for Symphony of Lights.
But before that, out aunt told us that heritage park is just around the corner.
So yeah…

Heritage Park.

And we were surprised that, just across the street is the Clock Tower. ?

We were there by 7:00 pm. But it doesn’t start at 8:00 pm
While we wait, we look for a good spot to see the show.

Symphony of Lights was just a short show. But it was really nice. With all the lights in the building synchronized with the music.

Tomorrow will be DisneyLand Resort for the whole day ?

  3. I think I would need 3 hours to take pictures in Nan Lian Garden, it`s so dreamy. Hong Kong sounds (and I am sure it is) a splendid getaway. Hopefully this year, I would be able to visit China or Taiwan.♥

  4. Awesome days! I feel that even 3 days will be insufficient to explore Hongkong, but you have really showcased the best itinerary for a budget holiday!

  5. I never imagined hong kong has such great buildings and strange statues! Even more so… I’d say that I’ve never seen pics made in Hong Kong with so much slight and sun! You were lucky over than a great photographer

  6. Sounds like an amazing day! It’s so much fun to go exploring in Hong Kong. And the shopping part is a winner too! Good to know you had a great time without spending too much.

  7. Wow, it looks like so much to see and enjoy. I love that statue of Bruce Lee. I remember watching him when I was a kid. I’d love to visit one day.

  8. The last time I was in Hongkong was in 2010 and we got a bit overboard with the expenses since we stayed at the Gold Coast Yacht Club. I wanna return soon and choose a hotel within the shopping district.
